Social Support Act (WMO) - care in kind (ZIN)
Diversity of Nursing's care is largely funded from the WMO. Do you have an indication/determination from the WMO? The costs are then reimbursed by the Municipality. You do pay a personal contribution. The amount of this contribution depends on your personal situation/income. You can find more information about this and how to calculate your own contribution at www.hetcak.nl.
Social Support Act (WMO) - personal budget (PGB)
Do you have a WMO-PGB indication/determination? Then you can buy care from Diversity of Nursing yourself. You do need to be PGB-capable and you enter into a care agreement with Diversity of Nursing yourself. We do this together. You also pay a personal contribution if you have a WMO-PGB indication/determination. More information about this and calculating your own contribution can be found at www.hetcak.nl.
Private care
If you choose private care, the cost of care 100% will be at your own expense.
Yes, you can. In that case, we will try to match you with a permanent care provider. An intake interview is held, after which a PGB care agreement is concluded.
No, we do not offer domestic help. Please contact your Municipality to see if you are eligible for domestic help from the WMO.
We regularly receive open applications from various students. Although we are keen to train students, we are not currently a recognised apprenticeship company. Q3 2026 we will address this issue. However, we can already indicate that we intend to train students. Which courses we are including is still unknown.
At the bottom right of the website are our cooperation partners and relations, including Municipalities.
We advise you to discuss your wishes with your WMO care contact at your local authority. We can then usually work out how you can still receive customised care from us, provided your care needs fit in with our care offer. If it turns out that your local authority does not facilitate this, you can apply for a personal budget (PGB) to purchase care from Diveristy or Nursing independently. Please contact info@diversityofnursing.nl.

Hi, welcome to our website!
My name is Randa Ourahou. I am a - of Riffin origin - mental health nurse specialist and owner of Diversity of Nursing.
My heart lies, since the age of 19 , in providing good psychiatric care and equal health opportunities. I have always been incredibly curious to find an answer to the question: ‘’how do mental health problems arise in people and what factors play a role in them?’’. The only way to answer this question was to talk to people, specialise in mental health care and be open to people in the context in which they live and grew up.
Meanwhile, I believe that - among many other factors - social, economic and societal factors play a very large role. For this reason, the focus within Diversity of Nursing is on providing psychiatric care mainly to people with significant socio-economic challenges. These include people who grew up and live in difficult circumstances, refugees displaced due to war, migrant workers who came here for a purpose but still get stuck, and status holders who need to start again from scratch but find this more difficult than they had hoped.
I do my work with great dedication. Within Diversity of Nursing, I am responsible for content and strategic management. Do you have a question, tip, top, or just want to meet? Then contact us in a low-threshold way, you are most welcome.
Kind regards, Randa
