Randa Ourahou has been appointed by the V&VN board as the new RSV advisor on behalf of nurses in specialist training (viossen). Randa will advise the Registration Committee on policies to be pursued, looking in particular at how these policies can strengthen the position of viros.
‘The perspective of the budding nurse specialist in making future policy, is important. It contributes to current developments when it comes to quality of care and training. It also offers vios the opportunity to participate at board level and represent vios broadly in the Netherlands. To excel in this, a critical professional attitude, reflective ability and visionary outlook are necessary. This maximises the quality of improvement processes within the RSV’ Randa said upon taking office.
